An electrical diagnostic service is a professional evaluation to identify the cause of electrical issues such as tripping breakers, flickering lights, non-working outlets, power loss, or safety concerns.
During this visit, I will:
• Inspect the affected electrical system
• Identify the root cause of the problem
• Explain recommended repairs or upgrades
• Provide clear next steps before any work begins
The $150 diagnostic fee is applied toward the total cost of any approved repair or upgrade completed during or after the visit.
This ensures you’re paying for expert troubleshooting—not just guesswork.
These upgrades improve safety, reliability, and capacity, and are often required for renovations or aging electrical systems.
• Main service panel upgrades
• Meter box replacements
• Electrical service increases
• Bringing older homes up to current electrical code
• Preparing homes for higher electrical demand (EV chargers, remodels, modern appliances, HVAC, Hot Tubs & Spas, etc)
I regularly work with general contractors, builders, and project managers on both residential new construction and remodeling projects.
• New home construction
• Home additions and renovations
• Kitchen and bathroom remodels
• Electrical upgrades required to complete permitted work
Whether I am brought in as a subcontractor or hired directly, I work efficiently with other trades to ensure projects stay on schedule, meet code requirements, and pass inspections.
Written subcontract required***
Due to the time, expertise, and overhead required for any service visit, a minimum service charge applies. Even small tasks require professional tools, licensing, travel time, and code compliance. The minimum ensures quality work is performed safely and efficiently. Bundling of multiple small tasks encouraged.
This includes items such as:
• Outlet replacements
• Light fixture installations
• Minor electrical repairs
Minimum service charge is not the total cost of all repairs.
